11:00 AM Children's Church
 

NURSERY (0-24 mos): These children should be brought to the nursery prior to the worship service.

2-3 Years/Little People's Church: These children meet in the preschool area of the southeast wing
before the service.

4 Years-Kindergarten/Children's Church: These children should stay with their parents in the worship
 center to participate in the song portion of the worship service.  They will be dismissed prior to the
message, and should proceed to room 1 (upstairs).

Grades 1-5/Jr. Church: These children should stay with their parents in the worship
 center to participate in the song portion of the worship service. Just prior to the message, the children
 will be dismissed to The Shack for age appropriate teaching time.

Middle School Small Groups and High School in the Youth Room
Middle School SuMo (Sunday Morning Small Groups) meet at 9:30 and High School at 11:00


Children's Ministries

Nursery (0-24 mos.): These children are invited to remain in the nursery for Sunday School and the entire worship service.

2-3 Year-Olds/Little People’s Church: These children meet in the preschool area of the southeast wing for their own church time ministry.
4 Years-Kindergarten/Children’s Church: These children should meet for Sunday School and be picked up by their parents after Sunday School so as to participate in the song portion of the worship service. Just prior to the message, Pastor John will dismiss them to Room 1 (upstairs) for age appropriate teaching time.

Grades 1-5/Jr. Church: Following Sunday School, these children should join their parents in the worship center to participate in the song portion of the worship service. Just prior to the message, Pastor John will dismiss them to go to The Shack for age appropriate teaching time.

Awana: The Awana program for children age 4 years through 5th grade meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:15 p.m. Children participate in a combination of games, stories, and activities. In addition, there are special events held throughout the Awana year (September-May).

Indoor Play And Share Group: Moms and their children from birth through preschool meet each Tuesday & Friday morning during the school year from 10-11:30 a.m. in the main auditorium. This is a great time for moms of young children to enjoy some fellowship while playing with their kids. Monthly special events add to the fun.

Children's Church:  Is designed to give children a worship service of their own.  Childcare is available for nursery thorough age 3 for the entire worship service.  Children ages 4 years through grade 5 are dismissed to their service just prior to the pastor's message.  Caring workers provide games, snacks, and Bible-centered teaching.  Contact Pastor Dan Dunn at 738-7453.

Vacation Bible School:  Is our summer ministry to children (K-grade 6).  This year's (July 9-13, 2007)theme is "SonForce Kids" and will transform NCFF's facility into an awesome place, all designed to lead children to Jesus.  Our young secret agents will enjoy learning outdoor skills, music, crafts, games and spiritual values.  Contact Laura Holland at 738-7453.

Youth Ministries

Youth Groups: Beach Side is a Middle school youth group that meets on Monday nights; 7:15-8:30 p.m.
                           Tsunami-High School Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights ; 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Special Events: Many additional youth activities are planned throughout the year. Kids can join in on winter ski trips, car rallies, beach bonfires, camps, mission trips, broom hockey, trips to water parks, the list goes on and on...



Other Ministries

Small Group Ministry:
These are small groups of 5-15 people who meet in various locations to build loving and supportive relationships.

Women's Ministries: Gal's Night Out is held on the first Monday of each month at the Seaside Pig 'n Pancake. This time of food and fellowship with a special program is open to all ladies.

Women's Camp at Camp Tadmor, is a chance for women to rest and relax together while enjoying inspiring speakers, workshops, crafts, and recreation in a camp setting.

Three  Women's Bible Studies: One is held each Monday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the Hospitality Room lead by Wendy Sandeen,   Second: Monday from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Small Group Office  lead by Ellie Hamilton, Third: The women's evening Bible Study is held on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. lead by Donna Schreiber.

Women's Retreat:  Is for the ladies of our church to spend time together with each other and God.  The dates for 2007 are October 5-7 at Falls Creek Retreat Center near Raymond, WA.  Contact the church office at 738-7453.

Men's Ministries: Men's Bible Study  meets each Wednesday night from 7-8:30 p.m. All men are invited to join in this time of practical learning, real life interaction, and sharing in prayer together.

Men's Roundup in September at Camp Tadmor is a time for men to get away together, enjoy good food, the out-of-doors, and a great speaker.

Senior Ministries: Senior Connection  is for those people in the 55+ age group. They meet on Thursdays from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Hospitality Room for coffee and goodies, fellowship, sharing and prayer. On the 1st Thursday of the month, they meet at the Various Restaurants for breakfast.
        And the Senior Connection, on the third Thursday of every month (except for July and August), attends the Astoria Rescue Mission Auxiliary brunch in support of our local Rescue Mission. This takes place at the different churches in the area or at the mission and replaces the meeting at the church.

Special Events: Special get-togethers are held at such times as Valentine's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.
